The Green Bay Packers are one of the most storied franchises in all of American sports. The Packers won a total of 13 NFL championships before the Super Bowl era, and the team has gone on to win four more Super Bowls since then. That includes each of the first two Super Bowls, as well as subsequent titles in 1996 and 2010.
Green Bay has enjoyed incredible stability over the years. Matt LaFleur, who took over before last season, is the team’s fifth full-time head coach since 1992. The Lions, by comparison, have cycled through twice as many coaches in the same span. The Packers have also had a grand total of two full-time starting quarterbacks in the last 30 years, which is even more remarkable. Brett Favre enjoyed a Hall of Fame career with the Packers from 1992 until 2007, and Aaron Rodgers has picked up right where he left off.
Rodgers may no longer be at the peak of his powers, but he is still one of the steadier quarterbacks in the league. The future Hall-of-Famer has a career regular-season record of 113-60-1 while leading the Packers to the playoffs 10 times. That stretch includes a win in Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers a decade ago.
Green Bay fired Mike McCarthy halfway through the 2018 season. The Packers failed to qualify for the postseason in either 2017 or 2018, which was the first two-year stretch without a playoff appearance since 2005-06. He was replaced with LaFleur, who promptly led the Packers to a 13-3 finish and the No. 2 overall seed in the NFC. The Packers would squeak past the Seahawks in the Divisional Round last season before getting crushed at the hands of the 49ers in San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game.
Green Bay edged the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC North last season, but Minnesota is currently listed as a slight favorite at a variety of NFL betting sites. Minnesota faces +150 odds to top the division, while Green Bay is down at +170. That obviously represents stellar value considering the Packers are fresh off a 13-win campaign.

After you’ve opened an account with one of our top Packers betting sites, it’s time to prepare for your first wager. Rather than just introduce you to a sportsbook that covers the NFL and send you on your way, we’ve designed this page to act as a continual resource that you can use throughout the season. The statistics that you’ll find in this section have to do with each team’s record straight-up, against the spread, and covering totals lines.
This information can be quite valuable and will grant you insight into how the Green Bay Packers and their opponents have been performing to date. By comparing a team’s wins and losses with their record against the spread and the rate at which their games go “under” or “over” totals lines, you can draw some decent conclusions about how an upcoming matchup may play out.
Every season, we see NFL franchises that are significantly better than their record may suggest. They’ll lose a majority of their games by a touchdown or less, keeping the contests competitive to the very end. These teams may lose in real life, but they’ll frequently cover the spread and win their backers plenty of cash, and that’s the kind of information you need to bring to your favorite Green Bay Packers betting site!
The stats shared in this section will also help you anticipate the style of game that will be played. A losing squad with a high rate of “overs” is likely talented on offense, able to score enough to keep up with their opponents but plagued by a defense that gives up even more points. When a couple of those teams are paired up, you know to expect fireworks!

Aaron Rodgers has done nothing but put up monster numbers since taking over for Favre back in 2008. He’s appeared in all 16 regular-season games in eight of his 12 seasons as the full-time starter, including last year. For his career, the Cal product has completed better than 64% of his throws with 364 touchdowns to just 84 interceptions.
Rodgers has thrown double-digit interceptions in a season just twice, with the most recent such season coming back in 2010. While his yardage and passing touchdown totals may not be as impressive as they were at the height of his prime, Rodgers is still extremely careful with the football. He’s thrown just six total interceptions in his last 32 games over two seasons.
Even if he is no longer capable of single-handedly dragging the Packers to victory, the fact that he will rarely turn the ball over means Green Bay will almost always be competitive. For the first time in years, it was actually the Packers’ defense that led the way in 2024. The team scored just 376 points on the year, which was the fewest of any division winner in football.
However, the Packers still managed a plus-63-point differential thanks in large part to a stingy defense that conceded just 313 points. Only the Niners coughed up fewer points among NFC division winners a season ago.
Rodgers has a legitimate No. 1 weapon in Davante Adams, but the rest of the receiving corps is largely unproven. Devin Funchess has never quite lived up to his potential, which is why he’s already set to play for his third team in the last three years. Allen Lazard, Equanimeous St. Brown, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling all have incredible names, but none have played a major role at the NFL level yet in their respective careers.
Oddsmakers aren’t overly bullish on Rodgers’ chances of leading the Packers to another 13-win season. The team’s over/under is sitting at just 8.5. While win totals are generally conservative projections, that’s still quite a low number considering Green Bay’s success a season ago.
Rodgers may also be feeling a little pressure for the first time since taking over for Favre. That’s because Green Bay made the shocking decision to trade up and draft ex-Utah State QB Jordan Love with the 24th overall pick in the first round of the draft. Rodgers was caught off-guard by the decision, and it led many to speculate about whether Rodgers will wind up finishing his career in Green Bay.

Packers Ownership
Green Bay Packers Inc.: (1923 – Present)
The Green Bay Packers are the only publicly-owned team in the NFL.
Furthermore, they’re the only franchise allowed to operate under their unique
ownership structure. They were grandfathered in after a league rule in 1980
dictated that there are no more than 32 owners of any given team with at least
one investor holding at minimum 30% stake. Green Bay Packers Inc is held by
360,760 stockholders.
There are currently 5,011,558 shares of the franchise, though no single owner
is allowed to possess more than 200,000 of them. Organizational operations are
the responsibility of the Green Bay Packers Board of Directors, the president of
which is currently Mark H. Murphy. The Packers are the only publicly held
non-profit professional sports franchise in America.
Earl “Curly” Lambeau: (1919 – 1923)
The Green Bay Packers were founded in 1919 by Earl “Curly” Lambeau and his
friend George Whitney Calhoun. Lambeau, in addition to running the day-to-day
operations of the team, also acted as a player and coach. He was the team’s star
halfback at a time when it was the sport’s most important position and was the
Packers’ top rusher and passer.
Curly’s squad joined the American Professional Football Association, which
would eventually become the NFL in 1921. However, two years later, the fledgling
franchise began to fall into financial troubles.
Faced with the possibility of their local team, a group of five Green Bay
businessmen raised funds and incorporated the Packers as a non-profit
organization. Lambeau continued on as a player-coach through 1929 and retained
his role as coach and general manager until 1949, long after his playing days
were over.

Team Logos
Current Oval “G” (1980 – Present)
Since 1980, the Green Bay Packers logo has been a variation of the classic
oval “G,” initially created in 1961. The only difference between the current
design and the original is a yellow outline along the border of the green oval.
White and Green Oval “G” (1961 – 1979)
In 1961, Vince Lombardi asked the Packers’ equipment manager to design a new
logo for the franchise. He then tasked his assistant, a St. Nortbert College art
student named John Gordon, who then created the green oval design with a white
“G.” Lombardi approved of the now-classic “G,” which is the only logo ever to be
worn on the Packers’ helmets.
No. 41 and Wisconsin (1956 – 1961)
Green Bay tried its third logo in 1956. The picture is of a quarterback
wearing the number 41, with his arm cocked back to throw a pass. Packers
quarterbacks Arnie Herber and Clarke Hinkle wore the number in the past. The
picture of the player is a yellow-gold and set atop a green outline of the state
of Wisconsin, which itself is layered over a larger yellow-gold football.
Football and Goal Posts (1951 – 1955)
The Packers first logo in the post-Lambeau era was a “Packers” wordmark in
green, backed by an almost-horizontal orange football. On the right and left
edges of “Packers” are a pair of orange goalposts. The strings and borders of
the football are yellow.
Acme Packers (1921)
Green Bay’s first-ever logo was a white square with rounded edges and a large
blue “AP” in the middle. Above the “P” is the motto “You want it, we’ll pack
it.” Yellow lettering reading “ACME PACKERS” is written over the blue initials.
Below the “AP” the words “Green Bay, WI” were written in italics, with “1921
Football” written in brown block font below. The logo was designed this way to
represent the organization’s sponsor, which gave Curly Lambeau $500 for uniforms
and equipment to start the team.
