5Dimes offers generous bonuses and rewards to players of all levels. They offer free play rewards, cash back rewards, casino rebate programs, reduced juice bets, and much more. Several payouts and deposits options make for fast and reliable cashouts seven days a week. 5Dimes offers fast customer service which includes email, live chat, and actual phone numbers where you can talk to a real agent for help or even to place bets.

It’s hard to compete with the reliability and peace of mind that comes with an online casino that has been in business successfully for so long. Overall, we are extremely pleased with what 5Dimes has to offer its players. For those that want to know more about 5Dimes and what they have to offer, we have included a comprehensive review of all aspects of the company below.

Ratings Breakdown

Overall

Overall, we gave 5Dimes four out of five hearts. In an industry that can be tumultuous at times, it’s great to have an option that has been in business for 15 plus years. This reliability and associated consumer confidence played heavily into our overall rating score. We were also big fans of the vast amount of sports and events that you could bet on.

Seriously, where else can you bet on the Puppy Bowl?

Even though our customer service chat experience we had was not the greatest, it’s still awesome that you can access a real person within seconds. Most sites also don’t post actual phone numbers for customers that you can use so this was a big plus.

The biggest negative for us was that the website is not the most visually appealing. Frankly, it looks like it was designed in a dark room by some school children in 1995. That being said, it’s still rather easy to use and allows you to accomplish everything you want quickly and efficiently.

Sportsbook

The Sportsbook is clearly the flagship of the 5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino. While the other aspects of the casino are great, it’s easy to tell that the sports book is where they concentrate most of their efforts. This means that if you are a sports bettor, 5Dimes is incredible for you.

The biggest win is the variety of games and betting options available at 5Dimes. The sportsbook offers every sport you can imagine and then some. 5Dimes recently made the news by setting lines and allowing players to bet on the Puppy Bowl that is played on Animal Planet during the Super Bowl. They also allow patrons to bet on politics, snooker, handball, competitive eating, and much more. The sportsbook also offers tons of different types of bets including your most basic straight bets as well as teasers, if bets, action reverse bets, and futures. The options are endless and make for a sports bettor’s paradise. An easy 5 out of 5 hearts for 5Dimes.

Game Variety

Game variety is another slam dunk for the 5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino. After spending just a few minutes flipping through the site, it’s easy to see that they offer every casino game we’ve ever heard of and some that were brand new to us. There are four different casinos all under the 5Dimes umbrella that you are able to play. The first Casino offers 75+ different slot machines, 14 different forms of video poker, and 28 different table games. This is only a slice of the first casino’s options (and only one of the four casinos) as they also offer tons of mini games, lottery, bingo, poker, and racebook betting options. With hundreds of different options, you’re bound to find your favorite game or possibly find a brand new one.

Cashouts

Overall, we were relatively happy with the cashout options at 5Dimes. All reports and research show that 5Dimes pays quickly and reliably to all players. Gambling in a casino is no fun if you can’t get your money when you want it. We did deduct one heart from 5Dimes’ cashout rating for a few small reasons. First, some of the options are only available Monday through Thursday which would add a couple days delay if you tried to request your money over the weekend. Not a big deal, but not perfect. We also noticed that some of the deposit options had fees associated in the $15-$80 range depending on the method chosen. While this is fairly standard across the industry, it’s still not ideal. The casino does offer one free withdrawal per month.

The sportsbook and casino also offer a dedicated cashout phone number that you can call for help and recommendations on the best withdrawal method for you. This is awesome as sometimes the different methods can be confusing. Overall, we are pleased with the withdrawal options at 5Dimes, though, there is always room for improvement.

Bonuses

To be completely honest, it’s possible that the 5Dimes rewards program is better than we are giving it credit for. However, it does not appear to be laid out or explained very well and therefore is somewhat confusing. Initially, all players are enrolled in the reduced juice rewards program. This is the ability to bet on popular sports with a reduced casino fee. This is fantastic for sports bettors but doesn’t do a whole lot for casino players or other game players.

For these other players, the casino offers about 20-30 other rewards programs. These programs are a mix of freerolls, rules changes, and other perks. Where we found it confusing was whether or not players were required to contact support and opt into these programs or if they were automatically applied. It appears that you are required to opt into these rewards programs which is a little annoying, to be honest.

Overall, we gave the sportsbook and casino 3.5 hearts, mainly because of the sports betting promotions and the possibility that the program is better than we are understanding. Our best advice here is to contact support about what is available for the game that you enjoy playing.

Customer Service

If you’ve ever spent any time around online sportsbooks and casinos, you know how rare and downright amazing it is for a website to offer phone support. 5Dimes has the ability for players to contact support through email, live chat, or by phone. We tested the options, and most of them are a pleasant experience. There is of course room for improvement, so we only gave 5Dimes 4 out of 5 hearts.

User Interface

As you can see, the user interface was the lowest scoring category for 5Dimes. The lobbies and betting areas have a very archaic and simplistic feel. While they may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, they thankfully are still easy to navigate and simple to accomplish what you’re trying to do. The actual game interfaces are great and provide a great playing experience. The perfect analogy would be staying in a hotel that has beautiful and luxurious rooms, but hallways that look like they were never touched by an interior decorator.

Overall, the interfaces of the core services are great. It’s just the areas of the website that lead up to these experiences that could use a facelift.

Reliability

Reliability can sometimes be in question when it comes to online sportsbooks and casinos. The fact that 5Dimes has been in business for over 15 years with happy customers, really alleviates any fears here. The sportsbook and casino also use multiple auditors to ensure honest and fair payout percentages for players. There’s not much more you can ask for regarding reliability than a long, positive track record, quick and accurate payouts, and third party audit protection. 5Dimes offers a safe and trusted experience where patrons can focus on the game and not worry about their safety and security.

Sportsbook | An In-Depth Look

The sportsbook at 5Dimes is hands down one of the best on the internet. If you’ve read any of our other site reviews, you know we are not just saying this. One of the biggest reasons for our love of this site is the variety of sports and events that are offered. You have all of your classic sports that we have come to expect from a sportsbook (football, basketball, soccer, etc.). On top of this, though, they also offer much more obscure sports like handball, snooker, and volleyball to name a few. The cherry on top of all of this already extensive list is they offer to wager on obscure events that are sometimes not even sports including competitive eating, politics, and even the famous Puppy Bowl to name a few.

5Dimes really takes the cake with offering the widest array of choices for wagering. Some of these more obscure sports have limits on how much you can wager, but they are usually high enough to satisfy almost all recreational gamblers. Typically, sites will offer these obscure bets less as a means for them to try and make money, but more as a means to satisfy customers and bring on new clients. For this reason, you can usually find some incredible value and bad lines (lines in your favor) when it comes to these obscure sports. We never thought we would live to see the day where we would say there is real value in betting on competitive eating. The variety of sports covered, bets offered, and reduced juice bets make this site an absolute paradise for sports betting fanatics. Let’s take a deeper look into what all is offered at 5Dimes.

Sports/Events Offered

As we’ve mentioned many times, the choices of sporting events that you can bet on at 5Dimes are near endless. Here is the current list of sports and events that you can bet on at 5Dimes. This list will grow and shrink depending on what time of the year it is and what sports are in season.

Different Bet Types Offered

5Dimes not only offers tons of different sports for you to bet on, but they also offer many different bet types to go with these sports. Here are the most common bets offered with a short description of what they are and how 5Dimes elects to pay out on them.

Straight Bets

Straight bets are the most common sports bet in existence. This is as simple as picking in advance which team will win the game. In some sports, you bet on the winner no matter how many points they win by. In other sports like football, there will generally be a point spread attached to the bet. This means that certain teams will have to win by a certain amount of points or are allowed to lose by a certain amount of points and you will still win your bet. 5Dimes follows the industry standard of a payoff of $100 for every $110 wagered. This slight discrepancy in the amount is known as the casino juice. Keep an eye out for the reduced juice bets here. For example, you may be able to wager $105 to win $100 which may not sound like a lot, but can make a huge difference in the long run. For sports without point spreads, payouts are made according to money lines.

Totals

These are another popular form of sports bets where you are betting on whether or not the total points scored by both teams will be above or below a certain number. For example, let’s say the total for a football game is set at 50 points and you decide to bet the over. This means that if the combined score of those teams is higher than 50, you win. If one team scores 35 points and the other scores 20 points, you win because the total is 55 which is greater than 50. 5Dimes pays these out in congruence with the industry-standard of a payoff of $100 for every $110 wagered. Again, keep an eye out here for the reduced juice bets. For sports without point spreads, payouts are made according to money lines.

Parlays

A parlay is just a fancy word for grouping several bets together. For you to win your parlay, you have to win every bet that is included. As you can imagine, this is more difficult to do than winning a single bet. For that reason, you are paid more for a win than with a single bet.

One other important thing to point out is that most sportsbooks typically pay 5/2 on two team parlays. 5Dimes, on the other hand, pays 13/5 on these wagers. This extra payout will certainly make a difference in the long run. These improved odds also continue up the ladder as you add more teams to your parlays. Here is a complete list of the payouts on parlays for football and basketball.

Parlay Payouts for Football and Basketball

All payouts based on odds of -110

# of Teams Parlay Payoff
2 2.64/1
3 6/1
4 12.28/1
5 24.35/1
6 47.41/1
7 91.42/1
8 175.44/1
9 335.85/1
10 642.08/1

13 4473.51/1
14 8541.25/1
15 16306.94/1

Open Parlays

Open parlays are similar to regular parlays except that you are able to leave open slots to add games in at a later date. 5Dimes allows players to bet open parlays online and over-the-phone. Online open parlays are able to have up to 24 open spots. 5Dimes allows you to fill these open spots one at a time or all at once. This gives you quite a bit of flexibility to win big money by stringing together wins over a period of time.

Progressive Parlays

Progressive parlays work similarly to regular parlays except that you can still collect station winnings if you have an incorrect selection. To win, you must pick a certain number of games correctly to begin receiving a payout. Every game that you pick correctly over this threshold results in higher payouts. 5Dimes treats ties as incorrect selections with their Progressive parlays.

Multichance Parlays

A multichance parlay is similar to a progressive parlay except that you receive the same payout regardless of how many wins over the threshold you are. These are great for entertainment value as your parlay is not dead if you lose a game. 5Dimes does not payout on multichance parlays until all games are completed, even if you have eclipsed the winning threshold. 5Dimes does allow players to use the rolling-if-bet wagering option (RIF) to use these winnings to make more bets.

Teasers

A teaser is very similar to a parlay with one major difference. Depending on the size of the teaser, all of your betting lines will be adjusted in your favor. For example, let’s say that you have a -6 point teaser. All of the bets on your card will be moved 6 points in your favor. If you bet a game where the team is -10 (they have to win by 10 for you to win), that now moves to -4 and the team only has to win by 4 for you to win. There are several variations of teasers that you can choose from. These include Ties Reduce Teasers, Ties Win Teasers, Ties Lose Tease, and Vegas Teaser rules. If you are interested in the Vegas teaser rules, you will need to contact support to enable this on your account.

Open Teasers

Open teasers are the exact same as open parlays, except they are for teasers. 5Dimes only offers open teasers via the internet. Phone customers will have to log into a computer if they want to use the open teaser bet option.

Progressive Teasers

Progressive Teasers work similarly to regular teasers except that you can still collect consolation winnings if you have an incorrect selection. There is a minimum threshold of games that you must pick correctly to begin receiving payouts. Once you cross this threshold, every additional game that you get right results in higher payouts. 5Dimes treats all ties as incorrect selections with their Progressive teasers.

Multichance Teasers

A multichance teaser is similar to a progressive teaser except that you receive the same payout regardless of how many wins over the threshold you are. As we mentioned with multichance parlays, there are great for entertainment value as your teaser is not dead if you lose a game. 5Dimes does not payout on multichance teasers until all games are completed, even if you have eclipsed the winning threshold. 5Dimes does allow players to use the rolling-if-bet wagering option (RIF) to use these winnings to make more bets.

Pleasers

A pleaser bet is a collection of football and or basketball side straight bets that are combined into one bet. Pleaser bets are the exact opposite of teaser bets. Instead of the lines all moving in your favor, they all move against your favor. This might not sound ideal, but the payouts are great if you happen to score one of these bets. 5Dimes rules ties as a wash and steps you down to the next level down. For example, if you bet a 3 teamer and one game is a tie, you would then effectively have a 2 teamer. If your two teamer has a tie and a win, then it pays even money at 5Dimes.

Progressive Pleasers

Progressive Pleasers are very similar to regular Pleasers except that there are consolation payouts if you don’t win every game on your ticket. There is a minimum threshold of games that you must pick correctly to begin receiving payouts. Once you cross this threshold, every additional game that you get right results in higher payouts. 5Dimes treats all ties as incorrect selections with their Progressive pleasers.

Multichance Pleasers

Multichance pleasers are similar to progressive pleasers except that you are going to be paid the same amount no matter how many wins over the bottom threshold you are. 5Dimes does not payout on multichance teasers until all games are completed, even if you have eclipsed the winning threshold.

5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino also offers some more complex bets that are not always offered at every sportsbook. If you’re looking to have complete options of any kind of bet possible, 5Dimes is the place for you. They offer the following less popular, but still lucrative bets: If-Bets (Win Only), If-Bets (Win and Push), Rolling If-Bets (Also known as leverage plays), Round Robins, Reverses, Asian Handicaps, Office Pools and Point Buying.

Reduced Juice Bets

You’ve also heard us mention a few times the reduced juice bets. These are bets that the sportsbook decides to offer reduced casino fees on. This means that you can bet for cheaper and win more when you win your bets. 5Dimes typically puts these special bets out on the day of the event, so you’ll need to check back often to catch the good deals. The good news too is that these are not just available on the obscure or less popular sports. These reduced juice bets are offered on the most popular and biggest sporting events regularly.

In-Game Wagering

5Dimes also offers in-game betting for those sports bettors really looking to push their edges. If you are looking for the in-game betting, click on live betting extra after you create your 5Dimes account. You will see a myriad of options for in-game wagering. 5Dimes typically updates in-play wagering options during commercial breaks of live televised games. For combat sports (MMA, UFC, Boxing), these betting odds and options are updated between rounds.

The in-game wagering is broken up into three different programs that can be a bit confusing at first glance. To be honest, they were still a bit confusing after several glances, but they still look pretty cool. These include Live In-Play Wagering, Live Betting Ultra and Live Betting Extra.

Live In-Play Wagering

This appears to be their classic/ standard form of in-game betting. If you’ve ever bet in-game before, this is probably the option that you are going to be most accustomed to. From our understanding, this is a simplified form of in-game betting with only the most basic bets available. This is perfect for beginners and first timers or people who just like simplicity.

Live Betting Ultra

This is the upgraded version of the standard live in-game wagering offered at 5Dimes. Players have a lot more bet type options including period, halftime and quarter lines, even or odd props, money lines, 3-way results/full-time results, point spreads, 2-way handicap, 3-way handicap, O/U, game totals, team totals, Asian handicap and more. 5Dimes also gives players the ability to roll these bets into parlays.

The Live Betting Ultra system also comes with a rebate program. This looks like one of the reward programs that you need to opt into. Before starting with Live Betting Ultra, check with support and see if you automatically receive this rebate or if you need to opt into it. Players in the US and Canada will receive a 2.941% rebate on their wager’s true amount, regardless of win or loss. For example, if you bet $500 to win $100 on a soccer game, you will receive $2.94 in money back. This is sometimes referred to as Rakeback. This applies to Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Soccer, and Tennis. If you happen to push on your wager, you will not qualify for this rebate on that bet.

Live Betting Extra

This form of in-game betting seems rather similar to the first two except that it boasts a mobile friendly platform. This is perfect for players who like to bet, but might be out at a sports bar, friend’s house, or at the game. The user-friendly interface makes betting easy regardless of the type of device you happen to be on.

5Dimes has also recently released their new wagering interface known as DynamicLines. This is the first step in improving the outdated user interface on 5Dimes. This new interface is more user-friendly and allows you to monitor your picks incredibly easily. The interface is great if you have many bets going as you’re able to filter your bets easily and all of your lines will automatically refresh instantly. This can be accessed from the drop-down at the top left of your 5Dimes Sportsbook account.

For those players electing to use the standard internet account, here are the minimum deposit and bet amounts.

50¢ minimum on all exotic wagers.
50¢ straight bet minimum.
$50 minimum deposit.
Wager on overnight basketball, hockey, baseball lines and more. (Not available with phone accounts)

For those players electing to use the phone to place their wagers, here are the minimum deposit and bet amounts.

$500 minimum deposit.
$50 minimum for straight wagers.
$25 minimum wager on parlays, teasers, pleasers and futures.
$100 minimum wager on open parlays.

Phone accounts are able to be accessed 24 hours a day. This means you can place wagers directly from your phone without even having an internet connection.

Live Dealer

5Dimes also offers the newest innovation in casino gambling, live dealer games. Live dealer games give players the option of sitting and playing at a real live table with a real live dealer from the comfort of their own homes. Players get to experience all the perks of being in a live casino while still enjoying the comfort and convenience of not having to leave their own home. Players do not have to get any additional software other than a computer and an internet connection. The website uses special Technologies and video streaming to deliver you a lifelike experience from the comfort of your chair at home.

Games include blackjack, Turbo Blackjack, European Roulette, American Roulette, Baccarat, and Super 6. Players have the option of picking from several different dealers to find their favorite. The dealers are not prerecorded or CGI graphics. They are real live dealers who are interacting with you and talking to you at the table.

Some of the games also offer small technological enhancements to make your gaming experience better. For example, the blackjack tables allow you to select auto hit on 8 or lower and auto stay on 18 or higher. You are not required to check these boxes, but you are more than welcome to if you’d like to play a little quicker.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options

5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino gives players several options for funding their accounts. Probably the easiest and most used deposit method is the use of a major credit card. Currently, players can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express to fund to their accounts. The minimum deposit for this option is $50, and the maximum per transaction is $500. Players may also use Bitcoin to fund their account with a minimum deposit of $25 and a maximum per transaction $10,000.

If none of these options work for you, you are also able to fund your account with Moneygram (minimum $100, maximum $690 per transaction), RIA money transfer (minimum $100, maximum $750 per transaction), and account to account transaction from an existing account holder (minimum $50, maximum is up to management).

If you have any further issues depositing, there’s a convenient live chat button located on every deposit page to help out. This is a nice change-of-pace from other sites where you have to hunt for the customer service information when you are having trouble with the deposit methods.

5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino offers several different withdrawal options for players to use to receive their winnings. The casino also has a dedicated live helpline for you to call if you are having any issues or want some help in selecting the best withdrawal option. All withdrawals from 5Dimes are processed through third-party processing companies. This is fairly standard across all sites in the industry.

One thing that may confuse you initially if you go to the withdrawal page of the website is the section that says time frames. Initially, you might think that this means you are required to submit your withdrawal during the posted time frames. Thankfully, this is not the case. They are simply letting you know on what days and at what time’s the staff will process all current withdrawals. Honestly, we are not really sure why they posted this information, so you are better off just ignoring it if you don’t want to confuse yourself.

According to the website, all withdrawals are processed within 24 hours after staff receives it (this is the posted times we were talking about). If you are attempting to withdraw after depositing with a credit card, 5Dimes will require a little bit of extra information to verify your identity. While this may cause a slight delay, it is there to protect the players. We recommend taking care of this verification immediately after signing up for the website. That way when you want to withdraw your winnings, you can get your money with no delays.

Players do receive one free withdrawal per 30 day calendar period.

Any additional withdrawals will be subject to the associated processing fees.

Customer Service

Customer service for 5Dimes crushes other operations regarding accessibility. The site offers email support, live chat support, and direct 1 800 phone numbers to get instant help from staff.

Email Support

Email support is available if this is your preferred method to speak with customer service. This is by far the slowest of the three methods, so we recommend using one of the other two to get help on your issues. This method should really only be used if there happens to be an issue with the other two which is unlikely.

Live Chat Support

The live chat support is available from most pages on the website. The times that we tested this method, we were speaking to an actual human being within a matter of seconds. 5Dimes does not require you to fill out extensive information before letting you chat with a staff member. We can’t speak for exactly how helpful the staff will be with your issue because we did not test them with game specific requests. We did reach out to try and receive a list of countries they serviced to be used for this review. Unfortunate the staff was not very helpful.

Live Chat Support

Phone Support

When reviewing this site, this was one of the coolest features we thought they offered. When accessing the site, we found nine separate customer service in wagering helplines. Each of the lines is dedicated to something specific which probably means you will get an agent that knows what you are talking about.

For new account holders, provided this phone number.

  • 1-877-332-7501

If you are new to the site, we recommend giving it a shot on your own first. Even though the interface is not incredible, it is very user-friendly and easy-to-navigate.

For general customer service, 5Dimes provided these three phone numbers to get instant help.

  • 1-800-430-5896
  • 1-800-305-3517
  • 1-800-243-7890

One of the other cool phone functions offered is the ability to place sports and horse wagers by phone. This will allow you to bet on your favorite games and races no matter where you are.

For Sports Bets:

  • 1-866-924-3772
  • 1-800-442-0151

For Horse Bets:

  • 1-800-761-1253
  • 1-800-243-7071

User Interface

The user interface is great in some areas and poor in other areas of the 5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino. Let’s start with the good. All of the actual gameplay interfaces are great. When you play the table games and the slot machines, the interfaces look high quality and provide a great experience for the players. This is probably the most important part of the interface. If the graphics were to make it no fun to play, what would be the point?

Where the user interface lacks is with the lobbies and the actual website. Basically, everywhere that you have to navigate before you get to your actual game looks a bit outdated. The upside to their outdated interface is that it is still easy to navigate and you are able to find your way around easily.

The best analogy that we can give is an older hotel that has recently had its rooms renovated. The hallways of the hotel might not look the greatest, but they are well-marked because of the renovations so you can find your way around extremely easily. When you get to your actual room, it is incredible. It has all of the amenities and upgrades that you could want. The hotel may need to upgrade its hallways, but it is doing a great job delivering on its core services. 5Dimes is very similar to this. The lobbies and information web pages might not be the prettiest, but they are easy to navigate and easy to find the information you’re looking for. The actual gaming experiences are top-notch, and the graphics and interfaces are cutting edge.

One other thing that we were not huge fans of was that when you create a new account, you are automatically assigned a username. This username isn’t something easy to remember like Luckman85 or anything like that. It’s more like 5dh28hh894 or something like that. Frankly, this is a little annoying even though it seems to auto-save it for you on your computer. If you happen to want to bet from a different device, it will be an extra step the first time. We were unable to find anywhere on the site that you could change this.

Though the sportsbook and casino lack in some areas with its interface, it does deliver where it’s important. We knocked them pretty hard with a three heart review earlier that was probably a little harsh when you take this into account. That being said, we’re greedy and want perfection, so the three hearts stand 🙂
