Tea and crumpets. Breakfast at Wimbledon. The Premier League. Princess Diana.
All of these things conjure up very British images for me. So, when I was
presented with All British Casino to be the subject of one of my reviews, my
brain immediately went to everything I could think of that was from the UK.
Being one of my favorites places to visit, I was thrilled to dig into a casino
that was about all things British and clearly designed for the exclusive play of
its residents.
Wait…is that right? Is this a casino only open to British players? Are the
rewards totally UK-focused? Well, these questions are amongst the many that I
will be trying to answer for this review. As always, you will get nothing but an
honest review of this casino from me. I don’t have time for a lot of crap from
casino operators and am only too happy to call them out when necessary. So,
settle in and have a read about what I found when checking out this site!
Ratings Breakdown
Game Variety
I love the variety of games available at this casino, and this is a direct
result of the partnerships the owners have developed from a software
perspective. With companies like Microgaming, Evolution, and Net Entertainment
on board, you will find games of the highest quality in the casino lobby. For my
money, there aren’t too many other combinations of suppliers that can create a
better array of games for my readers.
Banking
Payment processing is always one of the biggest struggles for both players
and operators. At All British Casino, there are a fair number of options, and I
like that the casino doesn’t tack on fees for deposits or withdrawals (except
wire transfers). Although I would have liked to have seen some additional
methods like PayPal from this casino, I don’t think any of my readers are going
to have any issues getting their money to and from the site.
Bonuses
A major strike against this casino in my overall rating. The promotions page
is full of expired offers dating back to October 2017. I don’t understand how
this can happen unless the owner is overwhelmed with the 12 casinos they
operate. I sent the team a note to let them know and suggested that my review
would change dramatically if they addressed this situation. Let’s see if that
has any impact on the bonuses as a whole. The VIP program looks like it has
potential, but without all the details, it is difficult to give it a positive
rating.
Customer Service
While I am very happy to see a comprehensive FAQ section, the casino gets a
lower mark than normal because their service team is only available 18 hours a
day. These days, there are too many other options for players that offer 24/7
customer service, and while I recognize that this site is focused on the UK
market, that doesn’t excuse it from abandoning other players who happen to play
later on in the evenings. Fixing this would take no time and have a marked
effect on the casino’s rating.
User Interface
I really like the way the site is laid out. This is especially true of the
casino section, which groups the games into multiple tabs. The only thing I
might add is a way to filter the games by the different software providers.
While this is a minor change, many players like to find out which games are
developed by the same vendor so they can either play or avoid those titles.
Aside from that, I think the site is very well designed, and I was able to find
the information I was looking for (if it was actually available) with ease.
Mobile Compatibility
Being a non-download casino (a necessity when a casino uses multiple software
vendors), the games at All British Casino are compatible with the majority of
mobile devices. This is great news for players who want to play their games away
from a bulky PC, and for the casino, it means the potential of extending a
player’s session. I would like to see some mobile-only promotions and bonuses to
help convert more players to playing via this method.
The Basics About All British Casino
With a name like All British Casino, it would be pretty easy to put together
an image in your head about this company. However, you may be surprised by what
you read next. This casino is open to far more players than those from the
United Kingdom. In fact, there are only a handful of countries that are not
allowed to access the real money games at this site: Estonia, France,
Netherlands, Spain, and the United States. I suppose it isn’t surprising when
you see the Malta Gaming Authority logo on their homepage. I wonder how many
potential players are deterred from creating an account or even visiting the
site when they see the name?
Let’s focus on what we do know about the casino. It is owned and operated by
L&L Limited Casinos, who also operate 11 other casino brands. They are based in
Malta, and as mentioned, they are licensed by both Malta and the UK. This should
give you a true sense of security when it comes to your funds, as both
regulators require that operators segregate player deposits in a separate bank
account which must be audited.
All British Casino launched in late 2012, which means that they just crossed
over the 5-year anniversary. This is an important watermark for me as a
reviewer, as a site that is able to be open for that long without any major
issues gets a high mark for reliability. With an ownership group that operates a
dozen casino brands, I am comfortable that they have the experience to bring you
a great casino offering.
The Casino
Now that we have debunked the name and theory behind the casino, let’s have a
look at the games themselves. After all, now that we know most of you can play
here, shouldn’t you know if it is worth your time and money? I always like to
get ready for a playing session by reading many of the player forums and looking
for complaints about the games. This time, I wasn’t really able to find anything
of substance (just the standard people complaining because they didn’t have a
winning session), so it was time to create an account, make a deposit, and get
to work.
Game Variety/Navigation
Seeing that this company is using multiple top software providers, it is no
surprise to find hundreds of games available in the lobby. I will say that the
navigation for this casino is excellent, although it is hard to get back to the
other website pages once you have clicked on the casino games tab. When in the
lobby, the casino has done an excellent job sorting the games by category, as
well as the most popular games on the site.
Software
While All British Casino doesn’t offer as many different software vendors in
their casino lobby, the ones you will find are truly some of the highest quality
you will find anywhere in the industry.
- Net Entertainment
- Microgaming
- Amatic Industries
- Evolution Gaming
These companies are all leaders in the online casino space, and seeing them
all being offered on one platform makes me very happy. Many of my favorite games
are offered by these vendors, and as you will see in the games breakdown, I
could find myself playing some of these titles for hours.
Slots
I thought I would start my playing session for this review with the slots
area of All British Casino. Typically, I don’t play slots as much as the table
games, but when I saw both Net Entertainment and Microgaming involved, I knew
one thing: there are some great progressive jackpot games. I was not
disappointed when I got to the lobby, and in fact, the casino separates their
jackpot games into their own tab! Here are the progressive slots I found in that
tab (you are likely going to see names you recognize here).
- Arabian Nights
- Cosmic Fortune
- Divine Fortune
- Hall of Gods
- Major Millions
- Mega Fortune
- Mega Joker
- Mega Moolah
- Mega Moolah Isis
- Treasure Nile
- Tunzamunni
- WowPot
I personally love the Mega Moolah games, as the jackpot is huge and hits a
lot. I tried my best to become an instant millionaire during this playing
session, but I can report back to you that I have left the multi-million
progressive there for someone else to win.
There are two other tabs dedicated to slots at All British Casino, in which
you will find well over 250 different games. These range from classic 3-reel
slots all the way to intricate games featuring cross-branded content from the
entertainment world. Here are a few of my favorites to get you started.
- Attraction
- Avalon
- Basketball Star
- Battlestar Galactica
- Billyonaire
- Book of Aztec
- Book of Fortune
- Dead or Alive
- Egyptian Heroes
- Elements: The Awakening
- Fairytale Legends: Hansel & Gretel
- Fortune Girl
- Four by Four
- Frankenstein
- Guns N’ Roses
- Hot Diamonds
- Jack Hammer Vs. Evil Dr. Wüten
- Jackpot 6000
- Lost Vegas
- Lotsaloot – 3 Reel
- Max Damage and the Alien Attack
- Pistoleras
- Planet of the Apes
- Rhyming Reels – Hearts & Tarts
- Robin Hood Shifting Riches
- Starburst
- Sweet Harvest
- Tarzan
- Terminator 2
- The Phantom of the Opera
- Thunderstruck
- Titans of the Sun Hyperion
- Titans of the Sun Theia
- Tomb Raider
- Wild Orient
- Wild Rockets
- …and many more!
Video Poker
Now here is where I started to get really excited (and spent FAR too much time during my playing review). I have recently reviewed many casinos that,
despite having multiple software vendors, still left the video poker section
quite bare. I think this is one of the best games you can play in a casino – the
speed of the game is great, and getting to be involved in the game by choosing
which cards to hold makes it far more interactive than a slot machine. Add in
the fact that the paytables in some instances get to almost even, and I think it
is a game that all my readers should be trying.
Here are the video poker options in the All British Casino lobby.
- Aces and Eights
- Aces and Faces
- All Aces Poker
- All American
- All American Multi Hand
- Bonus Deuces Wild
- Bonus Poker
- Bonus Poker Deluxe
- Deuces and Joker
- Deuces Wild
- Deuces Wild Multi Hand
- Double Double Bonus
- Double Joker
- Fruit Poker
- Jacks or Better
- Jacks or Better Multi Hand
- Joker Card
- Joker Poker
- Joker Wild Multi Hand
- Multi-Win
- Multi-Win Triple
- Tens or Better
Table Games
After an extended video poker session, featuring one royal flush (finally!),
it was time for me to move on to the table games section. Table games were the
first games I played in a casino, having watched movies like James Bond where it
seemed super cool to be playing baccarat or blackjack. For me, table games are
the most interesting, as they involve a lot more strategy than a slot machine.
I will say that I was surprised and a bit disappointed to find some of the
Microgaming blackjack variants missing – maybe the casino is more focused on the
traditional versions of the game. No matter, as I was able to find some of my
favorite games such as Pai Gow Poker and Caribbean Stud among the dozens of game
titles.
- 3 Card Poker
- Baccarat
- Blackjack
- Caribbean Stud Poker
- Casino Hold ‘Em
- Craps
- Pai Gow Poker
- Poker Pursuit
- Red Dog
- Roulette
- Sic Bo
- Spanish Blackjack
- Spingo
- Three Card Poker
- TXS Hold ‘Em
- Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em
Live Casino
It is great to see a live dealer option available at All British Casino,
although I must admit the details of these games are quite confusing. On the
site, it says that the games are streamed from the Portofino Casino in Malta,
and are only available from 10 am to 5 am CET.
However, I also see games from Evolution Gaming, and given the fact that they
have 7 studios to stream from, I know those games are available 24 hours a day.
Whatever the case, I highly recommend that you play live dealer games. The
warmth of having a human dealing the cards makes the experience far closer to
playing in a land-based casino, and the game speed is significantly slower, so
you don’t bleed money as quickly.
Here are all the live dealer tables available in the live casino tab of All
British Casino.
- British Live Roulette
- Common Draw Black Jack
- Live Auto-Roulette
- Live Auto-Roulette VIP
- Live Baccarat A
- Live Baccarat B
- Live Black Jack
- Live Blackjack A
- Live Blackjack B
- Live Blackjack Platinum VIP
- Live Blackjack VIP A
- Live Caribbean Stud Poker
- Live Casino Hold’Em
- Live French Roulette Gold
- Live Immersive Roulette
- Live Roulette
- Live Roulette A
- Live VIP Roulette
- VIP Live Blackjack
- VIP Live Roulette
Banking Options
There are several banking options for players at All British Casino.
Considering how much of the site’s traffic comes from Europe, it is surprising
not to see some more of the localized payment solutions. However, it would
appear that the casino is doing just fine with these options. You will see that
some of these methods are available for deposit only, and if you use those
methods, then you will need to request a bank transfer for your withdrawals.
Payment Method | Min/Max Deposit | Deposit Processing time | Withdrawal time |
---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 – £1,000 | Instant | 1-2 business days |
Mastercard | £10 – £1,000 | Instant | Request via bank transfer |
Bank transfer | £10 – no max | 1-2 business days | 1-2 business days |
Skrill | £10 – £10,000 | Instant | 1 day |
Neteller | £10 – £10,000 | Instant | 1 day |
PaySafe Card | £10 – £250 | Instant | Request via bank transfer |
Boku | £10 – £30 | Instant | Request via bank transfer |
There are no fees applied to the player for any of the deposit or withdrawal
methods aside from bank transfers.
Bonus Promotions
With so many great games, you may not even care what kind of promotions the
site offers. Not me – the bonuses are a major factor in calculating my
profitability with a casino, so it is important to search thoroughly for the
best value at this casino or any other.
Here is where I found the most damning issue with the All British Casino
management team – the promotions page is horribly outdated. Not only is the
welcome bonus not listed there, but the offers I found included an Advent
Calendar promo for December 2017 and a one-day offer dating all the way back to
October. This is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. Not only should the
marketing department be continuing to create interesting promotions for players,
but they also need to at the very least archive the expired offers. I am very
hopeful that this is just a technical oversight, but seeing that my review is
taking place well into 2018, I have my doubts.
Welcome Bonus
There is a welcome bonus displayed on the homepage of the site, which is a
100% match to $100 with an additional 100 free spins. However, clicking on this
banner took me to the registration page, and following my registration, it still
didn’t lead to any more details about the offer.
Just when I thought all hope was lost for this marketing team, I did find a
link to the bonus page of the site, which gave me a few more details on this
promotion. First of all, you have 30 days to convert the bonus amount from the
day you make the claim. The bonus also comes with a 35x wagering requirement,
which is a bit high compared to some other sites. However, as the maximum bonus
is smaller than most, there is still a good chance you will be able to convert
the full amount. I recommend that my readers take advantage of this welcome
bonus to its maximum, as it appears there isn’t much else in the way of offers
at this time.
Tuesday VIP Raffle
All British Casino seems to be following a recent trend I have noticed when
it comes to their VIP program. There is a full page dedicated to the program,
and it lists benefits that include the following.
- Exclusive dedicated Elite VIP manager available 24/7
- Increased deposit limits for more convenient play
- Increased maximum bet limits
- Fast track cash out and priority verification
- Reduced wagering requirements
- Exclusive cashback deals
- Exclusive Elite VIP only offers
- Exclusive Elite VIP events
However, there is not a true overview of the different levels of the program,
or how a player qualifies. Even worse, the site goes on to try to explain how
players can become a VIP, but those terms are so vague that it just seems very
subjective. I am starting to get frustrated that sites hide this information
from players – they should just make this part of the promotional plan and open
up about the level of rewards a player can receive in return for their loyalty.
Mobile Compatibility
These days, many players are looking to access casino games from their mobile
devices. To that end, sites like All British Casino are using non-download games
for their offering. This allows players to create accounts and play their
favorite games from any browser, either from a PC or a mobile device.
All British Casino’s software providers have modified the majority of their
games for mobile compatibility, although you may find a few games missing from
the mobile version of the site.
Customer Service
When I was searching for answers to the lack of promotions, I stumbled across
the frequently asked questions section of the site. This is an excellent
resource for players who have general questions about their account, payments,
bonuses, and site security. This is the first stop all players should make if
they are looking for an answer to their query.
Should you need more information than is available in the FAQ section, then
you can reach them by email, live chat, or telephone. Be warned: the casino only
offers support between the hours of 7 am and 1 am GMT. Seriously? What about the
players who play late at night in the UK or Europe (or those playing in
prime-time Canadian hours)? This is garbage – I expect every online casino
should have an agent available whenever their casino is open.
Summary
Well, I would have to say that overall I am split down the middle when it
comes to All British Casino. To start, I am happy that the site is licensed by
both Malta and the UK, and in fact is open to many more countries than the name
would suggest. The game selection is excellent, and they can be played either on
a PC or a mobile device without any issue.
However, for a casino that has the background from a management perspective
that this one does, I would have hoped to have seen a slightly better offering
when it came to bonuses, VIP programs, and customer service.
Verdict
As you have already likely determined from my ratings earlier, this casino is
missing some pieces that if addressed would end up in a much higher ranking from
me. However, if you are mostly concerned about the quality of games, then I can
say you will enjoy your experience at All British Casino. If you are looking for
more perks, then please read some of my other reviews for some other options.
FAQ
Do I have to make a deposit to play at All British Casino?
There are no games at this casino that are available for free play, meaning
you do indeed have to make a deposit to try the games out. This is a bit
disappointing, but there are many places you can play games for free if you
aren’t ready to try the real-money versions.
I live in the US – is it worth me using a proxy to play here?
I wouldn’t suggest it. I know many players that use IP spoofing software to
access sites that they aren’t supposed to, and this more often than not ends
badly. The site has to protect themselves from violating their license
regulations, and as a result, if it catches you trying to access the real money
games from the United States, it can close your account and confiscate your
money. To me, it just isn’t worth the risk.
Does All British Casino have an app I can download?
The casino does not have an app available at this time. To access the games
from a mobile device, all you have to do is bring the site up from your mobile
browser. From there, you can log into your account and play your favorite games
right in the browser.
What if I have an issue late at night with my game session?
Well, until the casino decides to get out of the Dark Ages when it comes to
customer service, then you will have to email the casino and wait for them to
get to the office to answer your concern. I recommend sending as many details as
possible (hand, time of game, etc.) to ensure you can get your issue dealt with
as quickly as possible.
How do I know my deposits are safe at this casino?
The regulatory boards of the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming
Authority take player safety very seriously. If you have an issue with the
casino that you don’t feel is being addressed properly, you can contact either
of these commissions by clicking on their logos on the All British Casino
website.
