Overall

This is one of the highest rankings we’ve given out in a long time and to be honest was completely unexpected by us. We expected the site to be another cookie cutter, run of the mill Bitcoin platform and it was far from that. The games were of the highest quality and organized and laid out well, the bonuses and promotions were well thought out, support was incredible (we tested it out), and they had free withdrawals which are pretty unheard of. The site also gives away free spins just for creating an account (not depositing), and all of their games are able to be played without creating an account if you want to test out the quality. These are signs of a site that is confident in their product as they should be.

Game Variety

BitStarz had some of the highest quality games we’ve seen with some of the best and fastest loading graphics. All of their games are on full display and can be played without ever creating an account if you want to test them out first. This is clearly done because they know they can stand behind the quality of their products. On the casino games side of the spectrum, it was refreshingly the same story. Lots of choices and high quality as well as live dealer games to choose from. It’s common to find online casinos with great slot games, but it’s oddly rare to find ones with high-quality casino table games like we found at BitStarz. Their games are a must check out. We docked a quarter point because we would like to see them add some branded game options.

Banking

We fully expected BitStarz to be Bitcoin only or have a few cruddy options to support the Bitcoin. We’re not sure if we could have been more wrong. With 13 different deposit options and 9 different withdrawal options, BitStarz takes the cake with flexibility. Not only that, but their withdrawals are all but one completely fee free. We did dock half a point because their deposits have very small fees attached which were a little strange but is more than made up for with the free withdrawals..

Bonuses

The bonuses and promotions section of the site is complete and well laid out for everyone to see. They have several different deposit bonuses, game specific promos, and also some day specific promos and rake races to take advantage of. A big perk of the promotions as well is that they don’t require any opting-in like a lot of sites and just give the promos and bonuses to everyone automatically. We took half a point of our rating because the deposit bonuses were somewhat smaller than other sites we’ve reviewed but that’s more because they were spread out and can be offered on almost all deposits, not just your first one.

Customer Service

The customer support options were fantastic at BitStarz. They offered live chat, social media support (Twitter and Facebook), email support, and phone support. An additional feature they had we really liked was the ability to request a call from the site so that you’d never be charged any phone fees and you wouldn’t have to wait on hold forever if they had abnormally high call volumes. This is a very professional move by them, and we were big fans.

User Interface

Everything on the BitStarz platform is well laid out and easy to find. The games are able to be sorted multiple ways, and they even have a search function. Graphics and layout were done the right way and really do a great job of creating a much more impressive experience for the users. We highly recommend at least navigating to the site once to see what we’re talking about. We have to confess something here. While researching the slot games for BitStarz, we lost a lot of time playing their games. The games are all set to be played for free without an account to try out, and the quality of the games is incredible. Graphically speaking, we’re not sure if we’ve seen anything else of higher quality before.

It sounds like we’re just on cloud nine with this section, but the quality is really that great. The casino games section of BitStarz was broken down into Table Games and Live Casino (live dealer) games. Game selection for the table games was pretty good, though, we didn’t see craps as an option. The big standout of these games was the quality. The games for once didn’t look like they were made in the 1990’s and looked to be up to date with current technologies. Surprisingly, this area of most big name sites is usually ignored.

All games were also available to play for free and without creating an account, again a testament to the fact the site believes in the quality of their games (which they should).

The Live Dealer section of Bitstarz had six different offerings for Live Casino that were again of top-notch quality. These games require you to log-in to play so you will need to create an account if you want to investigate these for yourself and try them out. The game selection was almost all Baccarat, and all of the dealer pictures listed were of Asian dealers. Our guess is they may be catering this section to a certain clientele.

Banking Options

The banking section of BitStarz was actually the most surprising for us by quite a bit. We expected a site with “Bit” in their name to be a Bitcoin only site or one that had Bitcoin as the main method of depositing and withdrawing with a few other small options that weren’t very attractive.

BitStarz, though, has a ton of different options including more than a lot of the non-Bitcoin sites do. The big bonus kicker was that almost all of their withdrawal options were completely fee free (one option was 0.2%) and were either instant or took 1-3 banking days. This is really unheard of from most sites in the industry and should be reason enough to want to check this site out. Strangely, there were some fees with the deposit options which are usually the other way around with the sites. The fees were low, though, and they did have several options that were fee free for you to use, so they were easily avoidable.

On top of all of this, they also did a fantastic job laying out all of the information with deposits and withdrawals clearly. This is fantastic news because there is nothing more annoying that trying to get money onto a site or off of a site and not being able to figure out what options you have or how they work.

This is something we don’t see very often from sites which is surprising in today’s world.

The site also had phone support which we’ve seen before, but they additionally had the option for you to request a phone call from the site. This means that you wouldn’t have to worry about any fees associated with making the call and you wouldn’t have to worry about waiting on hold to talk to an agent. If they’re experiencing higher than normal call volumes, you don’t have to sit there glued to a phone waiting for the agent. This was a really cool support feature that we rarely see.

In addition to all of this, BitStarz advertises that every single one of their agents has to have 3+ years of customer support experience before they’ll even hire them. They also boast that their “Support Heroes” are extremely well versed in every aspect of the company. If this is all true (which it appears to be), they’ve set the standard in customer service for the industry.

Conclusion

To be completely honest, we weren’t expecting to find such an awesome experience when we reviewed BitStarz. We expected them to be another cookie cutter, run of the mill casino that offered Bitcoin, end of story. What we found was a casino that has hired the right staff and the right developers who have created a really nice product in a tight little package. It’s hard to snuff your nose and super high-quality games, free withdrawals, and creative promotions that are spelled out well and don’t require opt-in.

The only things we’d like to see them get rid of are the small deposit fees, but we can live with that for now with the rest of the perks and the free and instant withdrawals. We definitely recommend giving this casino a try especially because you can check out and play all of the games without even making an account.
