The biggest initial standouts in the positive column were game choices for blackjack players and video poker players. They definitely crushed the competition when it came to offering game variations and different options there. The site also had payout reports and randomness reviews from eCogra that they had posted right on their site. It shows just how much they are paying out and that all of their games and systems are up to date and fair. Surprisingly, a lot of sites don’t post these or start posting them, but the most recent you can find is from years ago. This definitely adds a check in the trust category.
Outside of these first big perks, everything else had an air of mediocrity. The site was clean and organized but had a bit of a dated feel. We especially felt this way when we clicked on the casino games tab, and everything was listed in a text link list instead of flashy screenshots. We didn’t want to judge the book by its cover, though, so we, of course, dug deeper on all of these things.
Below you’ll find our review of Mummy’s Gold Casino. As is the case with all of our reviews, we’re here to give you the truth and give you an accurate review you can take to the bank. Too many review sites waste your time by blowing smoke up your tailpipe and only giving you the positives about a site. This is usually because they’ve been paid (or bribed more accurately) to do so.
This is NEVER the case with us. We will always give you our honest and accurate opinions of sites and will update our reviews if anything changes. We don’t care if that means we have to bash a site into oblivion; we will do it. You can always trust that the opinions and observations you get from our reviews are true and written with your best interest in mind.
Ratings Breakdown
Overall
Mummy’s Gold was an interesting one. They remind us of a football team that has good individual talent but some issues getting it all to connect together well. With a few tweaks, that team could be great, but instead, they struggle with brief flashes of greatness. Mummy’s Gold needs work but has potential to be a good site to play on.
Let’s start with the positives. Mummy’s Gold had great casino game variety (decent slot variety), great customer service options, and potentially good banking (read on to see what we mean). Regarding negatives, the bonus programs were virtually non-existent outside of a weak deposit bonus, and the user interface/aesthetic appeal was lacking in a lot of sections of the site.
If we had to pick one phrase to most accurately describe the site, it would be decent with potential. For those that are mainly slot players, you can find better options. For those that are blackjack or video poker players that like options, this may be a good site for you as you’ll see when we cover game variety.
Game Variety
We were originally going to give a slightly lower ranking to the site in this category because we weren’t super impressed with the slot game selection. We weren’t unimpressed by any means; it just wasn’t anything crazy to write home about. However, we quickly realized that this rating is not just about the slot options but about all the different game options. The reason this is important is that the blackjack, table games, and video poker games on the site are strong. They have a lot more different options and game variations than most sites we’ve reviewed as of late. Blackjack and Video Poker players are going to be big fans of this site especially. We would probably give a 3.5 to the slot section and a 4.5 to the table/casino games section if we broke them down individually.
Banking
Honestly, the site had a lot of great options for deposits and withdrawals and probably deserves a higher score than we’ve given them. The problem is that they left out the details about fees and limits and time frames for a lot of the methods. The ones that do have it posted have it where you have to go to a separate page and read through a paragraph to find the pertinent information. We’d really like to see this displayed better and easier for us to read through.
It’s possible and most likely probable that their banking options are better than what we have displayed, but we dock points if they make things difficult on patrons in any way, shape, or form. We’ve also learned to be wary of things that aren’t spelled out in black and white in this industry.
Bonuses
We’re giving them one star maybe just to be nice or because they at least have something on the board. The casino only has one promotion, and it’s a deposit match bonus. The bonus amount is nice at $500, but it requires a 50x play through which is a little steep and will definitely clear the bonus slower than at other sites. Outside of this promotion, they had nothing else offered. Hopefully, they change this and add some more promotions in at some point.
Customer Service
The casino had phone support, email support, and live chat support that were easily accessible and easy to find from any part of the website. They were also available 24/7/365 which is a must for us to be happy these days with customer service. Nice job on the set up here.
User Interface
It’s not so much that things weren’t laid out well, it was just that the site really didn’t get us excited with the look and feel. There wasn’t anything glaringly bad outside of maybe a little too much text in some spots, but it just looked like it was maybe a bit dated which may be expected from a site from 2003. Still, we’d like to see them get with the times and update the look and reorganize how some things are laid out. If you want to see what we mean, just click on the casino games tab and see how the games are initially presented in just a text list with no pictures or screenshots. If you click through to a particular game section, you can see screenshots and game descriptions, but only for one game at a time.
Slots
As the slot offerings are not separated from the casino games at all at Mummy’s Gold, we covered them in the Casino Games section below. Usually, sites have the slots and casino/table games separated out, but with this site, they were all in the same place. This isn’t really a negative or a positive but just something to be aware of.
Other Casino Games
As Mummy’s Gold has no sportsbook, we went into this review expecting their casino games and game selection to be out of the park. The very first thing that jumped out to us when looking into the casino games section was the big ticker at the top of the screen with a $3+ million progressive jackpot. It’s always a nice perk when you see games with bonuses especially when they start moving into seven figures and not just five or six.
The casino games at Mummy’s Gold are separated several different ways all available under one main menu link to ‘Casino Games.’ When you first click on the link, it takes you to a list of all games available. Surprisingly, this list doesn’t have any screenshots of the games which is a little lackluster and could make it a challenge to find a game to play if you’re new and don’t really know what interests you. For those looking for specific games, you may actually like this a lot more.
Regarding game selection, we had a few initial thoughts. For slots, the selection choices were good, but not great. They had a decent amount of selections, but no branded games. Where they did shine was with table game options. If you’re someone who likes a lot of different variations of your favorite games, you’re going to be a big fan of this site probably. They had 42 different table game options which are considerably more than most sites we’ve reviewed lately. A large majority of these were blackjack options so definitely a big win for blackjack players.
In addition to the big text list of games on the main page, there were five categories available at the top of the screen you could choose.
- Progressive Jackpots
- Table Games
- Video Poker Games
- Slot Games
- Other Games
When you click through one of these, it takes you to a screen showing the first game on the list only. To see other games, you have to click next game or previous game to move through the list. They do have screenshots as well as game descriptions (which you don’t really see), but the fact that you can only see one game at a time is a little strange. The game descriptions are new to us and definitely a win if you want a breakdown of how the game is, but you may become annoyed if you’re trying to find a game quickly and prefer to do that through screenshots.
On the main page, the games are broken down into eight different categories. Again, these are just text lists with no screenshots. If you click on any of the game names, it takes you to the individual pages that can be accessed through the top menu. We understand they were probably trying for a new type of layout here, but frankly, we think it’s a bit of a miss.
For your benefit, we’ve included the list of all games offered below broken down as they are on the Casino Games page. All of the games are listed alphabetically on the site except for the table games section for some reason. Not a big deal, just an observation. We have alphabetized it here for you.

Banking Options
Mummy’s Gold had several deposit and withdrawal options available for patrons of the site. Something we didn’t see listed was the limits on deposits and withdrawals. Some of the options talked about fees, and it looked like most options were fee free. We don’t think there are no limits on their transactions, so we recommend talking with support before selecting how you are going to withdraw your winnings.
Also, the site does clearly state that they will need some documentation before they process a withdrawal for you. This is completely industry standard and is actually nice to see them mention it up front. What we recommend doing is starting the process of filling that information out as soon as you join the site. That way when you go to withdraw, you’re going to be ready to go, and you don’t have to wait at all.

Bonus Promotions
The bonuses and promotions programs were pretty weak at the site. They did have a deposit bonus but nothing else. We would have really liked to see some basic promotions or even a VIP club. The one good thing about their deposit bonus is it was laid out and straight forward. You get 100% up to $500 on your first deposit only.
We did take a minute to flip through the associated terms and conditions and the play through on the bonus was 50x which is a lot higher than what we see elsewhere. What does this mean? As you know (or may have suspected), they aren’t going just to hand you the extra money and let you withdraw it right away. You have to play with the money for a little time to unlock it. Usually, this will be somewhere around 30-40x for industry standard. We have seen as low as 20, but this is definitely on the high side for clearing bonuses.
This is not something we like seeing. We would say it was a “swing and a miss” on the bonus front, but it doesn’t really look like they even tried to take a swing. Just a miss. They should really change the PromotionS tab to just Promotion; the singular form is much more fitting.
Customer Service
Customer service for Mummy’s Gold was strong with several different options including toll-free phone support, email support, and live chat support. All of these options were also available 24/7/365 which is a must for us in this day and age. Frankly, if we see a site doing any less than 24/7 we just assume they’re lazy or cheap or a combination of the two.

Conclusion
The bottom line here is that Mummy’s Gold is not bad, but there are probably some better options out there. If you’re a slot player only, we would recommend probably finding somewhere else unless you see the games you like on the list above. For those that are video poker and blackjack players, you may actually like Mummy’s Gold thanks to the myriad of options for those game types.
The user interface and aesthetical appeal of the site could be better, and the bonus programs could definitely use a lot of work. Overall, this site may be good for some, and better options may exist for others. Our recommendation is to take a look at the game list and make your decision based on that. If you see a lot you like, give it a shot. If you don’t, there isn’t going to be much there for you.
