An Honest Review of PlayOJO Casino

As with all casino reviews on this site, this one is going to be in-depth.
I’ll review the games (considering both quality and variety), bonuses and
promotions, customer service, banking methods, payout speeds, and overall player
experience at PlayOJO casino.

I first discovered PlayOJO about a year ago when it made a big splash in the

In this section, I’ll give each element of PlayOJO a rating out of five. For

Overall

PlayOJO is a phenomenal online casino in just about every way. The only
downside is that it’s only open to UK players, so if you’re from anywhere else,
you won’t be able to play at one of the best casinos currently online.

Yes, there are some things which could be better, such as a freephone hotline
and a greater range of video poker titles. It also doesn’t have the biggest game
selection I have ever encountered.

However, those small things are far outweighed by all the great things. The
games are excellent, the user experience is nearly flawless, the bonuses
genuinely are free from wagering requirements, and the customer service is on
point.

I would give PlayOJO 5.0/5.0, but there’s no such thing as a perfect casino.

Game Variety

PlayOJO offers a well-rounded selection of games but is a little light on the
table and card games.

Slots players will be able to enjoy hundreds of the best games available.
Firms like NetEnt, Microgaming, Play’n GO, and plenty of others are represented
here, and there are some serious big wins.

As far as live games are concerned, Evolution Gaming and Extreme Live Gaming
are the providers. This guarantees the best gaming experience you could possibly
have.

I’m extremely happy with the variety and quality of games at PlayOJO. I’d
just like to see more table and card games and a greater selection of video
poker titles.

Banking

I’m happy overall with the deposit and withdrawal methods. The only reason I
didn’t give this a higher score was because there are fees on depositing with
Neteller and Skrill, which seems unnecessary.

Unlike many other casinos, PlayOJO offers plenty of ways to get your money
back out. The minimum withdrawals are low (£20), and with the exception of wire
transfers, are free. Even with them, if you withdraw £500, they are free also.

If PlayOJO eliminated those little deposit fees on the web wallets and
offered cryptocurrency deposits, I’d be happy to upgrade this score to a
5.0/5.0.

Bonuses

You won’t find the type of gimmicky, too-good-to-be-true offers here that you
might find elsewhere. PlayOJO keeps things simple and offers cashback on all
bets. Best of all, there are no wagering requirements.

I admit I was unsure about this claim, as you probably are, but it turned out
to be true. That’s why I decided to give PlayOJO a 5.0/5.0 – the only time I
have ever done so for any casino online.

Regular players will be able to enjoy spins on the “OJO wheels,” which are
basically bonus wheels offering the chance to win free spins. Again, these come
with no wagering requirements.

There are also regular freeroll slots tournaments. Note that you will have to
have made a deposit within the previous three days to qualify for these.

All in all, this is one of the best casinos I’ve come across for bonuses.

Customer Service

PlayOJO excels again in this department, offering all three ways to get in
touch – email, live chat, and phone.

The only reason I didn’t give this a full 5.0 is because the telephone
hotline isn’t free, and it isn’t possible to request a callback. Also, while I
didn’t experience it myself, I’ve read that response times can slow way down
during peak gaming times.

Still, when compared to many other casinos I’ve played at, PlayOJO is killing
it with its customer service. Their live chat agents are helpful and make you
feel like it’s a pleasure for them to do their job.

User Interface

PlayOJO is an easy site to use; there’s no doubt about that. On both mobile
and desktop devices, I was able to play several games without a hiccup.

The only point I want to pull them on slightly is that my first deposit
failed when using a credit card. It seemed like I was about to be taken to a
verification page, and then it just went blank.

On my second attempt, I was able to deposit without any problems using
PayPal.

The layout and design of the site are both excellent and easy to use. Games
are organized by category, but I would like to see some more advanced game
filters, such as the ability to search for slots by features.

On the whole, it’s a nice-looking site and is easy enough to use.

Mobile Compatibility

PlayOJO offers mobile players the chance to play either on the mobile flash
site (directly through your browser) or by downloading an app (iOS users).

Both are great, all things considered. Unlike many mobile casinos, there are
no restrictions as to the games you can play, as the full selection is

there are no bugs, freezes, or clumsy menus as you might have encountered

Again, I can only take my hat off to PlayOJO for its mobile casino. It’s once

The Basics About PlayOJO

Which licenses a casino holds is one of the first things I check when
reviewing any site. I’m happy to report that PlayOJO holds two. The UK Gambling
Commission and Malta Gaming Authority have both given this casino the green

In all instances, the games loaded quickly (10 seconds average), ran

One thing I really like is that the games load lightning-fast. I loaded at

PlayOJO. I like that there is an almost equal number of ways to get your money
back out as compared to the deposit methods. PlayOJO does note, however, that
there can be issues with regards to withdrawing by Mastercard due to policies
from Mastercard’s side.

Most of the deposit methods are fee-free, apart from Neteller and Skrill,
which charge 3% and 5% respectively. In all cases, the minimum deposit is £10.

The minimum withdrawal is £20, apart from when withdrawing by wire transfer,
in which case it is £50. All withdrawals are fee-free apart from wire transfer,
which costs £10, except on withdrawals of more than £500.

In the top left, you’ll see three little white bars. Click that menu icon,

It’s all one-touch responsive, and I encountered no problems whatsoever when
using the mobile site.

Mobile App Evaluation

Free PlayOJO apps are available for both iOS and Android devices, which can
be downloaded either directly from the PlayOJO website or from the iTunes store
for iOS users.

All games are included (over 500), including slots, table and card games, and
live dealer games.

You’ll need to be running iOS 8.0 or later to use the iOS app. The only
downside is that it’s quite large (65.9 MB), but that’s the price you pay for
having so many games available. It has a very high player approval rating with

The Android app is compatible with basically every recent device, but you
will have to download it directly from the site, as Google Play doesn’t allow
gambling apps to be advertised.

Customer Service

PlayOJO offers three ways to get in touch with the customer support team, as
well as a solid FAQ section covering most of the basics. You can reach the team

  I got most of the answers I needed through live chat, but it’s good to know it’s

Summary

It’s rare that I say this – but PlayOJO has become one of my favorite online
casinos, and I only signed up before I started writing this review.

It’s true that there’s always room for improvement. The game selection could
be expanded, and it would be nice to see a freephone telephone hotline.

That said, this is one of the few casinos I’ve played at where I can say I
got a 100% honest and fair deal. I’m always on the lookout for hidden terms and
conditions which put the screws to me, and more often than not, I find them. Not
here, though. It just does what it says without any complications.

The best way to sum it up would be this – it’s not doing everything
absolutely perfectly, but it is doing everything extremely well.

Verdict

I recommend playing at PlayOJO without reservation. I can say without any
doubt that the claim to offer rewards with no wagering requirements is true, and
your cashback can be claimed on the spot and either withdrawn or used to play
more.

There’s almost nothing negative to say about PlayOJO. That could be an online
casino first for me!
