Titan Bet is the flagship site of industry giant Playtech. Though the site was
originally a sportsbook, its casino games and other products are now more popular,
thanks to the site’s status as a Playtech flagship site. Titan Bet is known for
releasing early lines and was an early adopter of live betting and live casino
technology, as well as an early player in the mobile gambling market.

Overview

How do I feel about Titan Bet? First, the good news. Here are
some reasons to consider opening an account at Titan Bet:

The site is available in a few different languages
and accepts a variety of world currencies
. Okay, so
other sites are available in more languages, but English,
Russian, German, and Spanish is enough to cover a good chunk of
the gambling population. The list of accepted currencies ensures
that players from all over Europe can participate.

The site’s promotional offers have good terms.
I wish Titan Bet ran more promotions, but what offers do exist
have decent terms. The only one I’m not so sure about is the
casino bonus and its 30x deposit-plus-bonus wagering
requirement.

Titan Bet contains a lot of different ways to gamble
under one roof
. The concept of an all-in-one site is
nothing new, and Titan Bet didn’t invent it. But I like the
variety of options the site makes available, including a
full-fledged sportsbook, live betting and casino options, and an
active poker room and bingo parlor.

Now for some negative features. Some bettors may be turned
off by Titan Bet after learning these details:

The Playtech-designed library is boring. If
you’re into slot games, you’ll be happy about the site’s casino
game library – everybody else is left out in the cold. The 300+
games in Titan Bet’s collection are made up almost entirely of
slot titles, and all from one designer. There isn’t much replay
value in Playtech’s slots, besides a few licensed and
progressive games. I got bored in the site’s casino section
quickly, especially after I clicked through the various
blackjack and roulette games and realized there wasn’t much
variation there, either.

No access for US or Canadian players. North
America is full of online gambling fans, and the fact that
Titan Bet doesn’t give any of them access is a big deal.
Americans don’t have as many options when it comes to choosing a
gambling website as we used to.

I found more than a few customer complaints about
payment issues
. Online gamblers love to complain about
slow payment – it’s the nature of the beast. Casinos don’t want
to pay, and gamblers want to get paid. I’m not always put off by
posts about slow payment, but Titan Bet seems to have generated
an awful lot of them. Sure, you should expect to have some
payment delays if you’re dealing with an online casino, but the
sheer volume of complaints is worth mentioning.

Bonus Details

100% Casino Games Bonus

First-time casino
gamblers who deposit at least $20 are eligible for a 100% bonus
match worth as much as $100. The wagering requirement is 30x
deposit-plus-bonus, which isn’t outstanding. But it isn’t the
worst I’ve ever seen, either. All casino and live casino games
count toward clearing the bonus, too, which is a nice feature.

$5 Daily Free Bet

Sports bettors are
eligible for a boost of up to $5 on every sportsbook wager of
$50 or more they place. Limited to one offer per day. Other
terms and conditions apply.

10% Mobile Match Bonus

New mobile
customers are eligible for a 10% deposit match worth up to $100.
Certain restrictions apply. For example, bets on the following
games don’t count toward clearing the 30x deposit-plus-bonus
wager requirement: baccarat, roulette, Sic Bo, darts, Heads or
Tails, all video poker games, Blackjack Switch, Blackjack
Surrender, Pontoon, craps, Wild Viking and Spin a Win.

$25 Free Bet Sportsbook Offer

Sports
bettors are eligible for a free $25 bet after they place a wager
of at least $5 on five contests with odds better than 1/1. The
wager requirement is 6x, which is better than average
requirements found at other online books.

Refer a Friend

For every friend you refer
who makes a deposit of at least $20, you’re eligible for a $25
bonus. You can refer as many friends as you want, but you’re
limited to $250 a month in referral bonuses. The wager
requirement is a generous 8x the bonus amount.

200% Poker Welcome Bonus

New depositors
interested in poker are eligible for a 200% deposit match bonus
worth up to $1,000. The wager requirement is a bit different for
poker than for casino or other games – the bonus cash is
released in one percent increments as a reward for “loyalty,”
which is code for “playing lots of poker.”

Bingo Welcome Bonus

Bingo players making
their first deposit are eligible for a 300% deposit match bonus
maxed out at $45. Players must deposit at least $5, and a
wagering requirement of 8x the deposit-plus-bonus is required to
clear all of the bonus cash.

Sportsbook

Titan Bet’s sportsbook was its first major product, but it’s
no longer the focus of the site. That said, the sportsbook is
popular, and reviewers tend to give it a decent rating.

I liked the sportsbook and its betting options. The selection
of available bets in the site’s live sports betting category was
weak, but at this time of year (mid-summer), that’s often the
case.

I enjoyed the sportsbook interface – the buttons are large,
easy to read, and they exist in spots where you think they
should be. It’s not common to come across intuitive gaming
software, and I have to give credit to the site for operating an
easy-to-navigate and sensible betting interface.

Here’s the full list of markets available for wagers at
Titan Bet:

  • Football
  • Tennis
  • Horse Racing
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Ice Hockey
  • American Football
  • Baseball
  • Darts
  • Snooker
  • Cycling
  • Rugby Union
  • Volleyball
  • Handball
  • Greyhounds
  • Motor Sport
  • Golf
  • Rugby League
  • Boxing
  • MMA
  • Australian Rules Football
  • Entertainment
  • Politics

During other times of the year, especially during big events
like the World Cup, Olympics, or major sports championships,
other sports markets appear. It’s common for the site to list an
addition two dozen betting options during busy sports times.
Even at the time of my visit, I was able to access some special
wagering departments, with props and standard bets available for
Wimbledon, the Gold Cup, and the Ashes, a cricket series played
between Australia and England.

Titan Bet Sportsbook

According to the site’s own promotional material, as many as
7,000 markets are available at the site on any given day from a
few dozen sports and dozens of pro and amateur leagues. Clearly
the emphasis here is on European sports, but that should come as
no surprise, since the bulk of the site’s business is from
Europe.

As for the live in-play betting options, here are the sports
usually available in that category:

  • American football
  • Soccer
  • Hockey
  • Golf
  • Tennis
  • Rugby
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket

During my visit, the only available live bets were on some
obscure tennis matches, summer league NBA games, and lots of
international soccer. I suspect this was a consequence of the
time of year I visited.

Poker

Titan Bet is on the iPoker network, the third-largest online
poker network in the world in terms of player traffic. According
to PokerScout, the average number of cash players on the iPoker
network in the past week is 2,655, which makes it one of the
busier networks.

The only games now available on all iPoker skins are Texas
holdem and Omaha. You won’t find any draw, stud, or mixed games
like you would on some of the larger networks. You can see this
as a positive thing – with fewer game choices, traffic is
concentrated, which means more full games at different times of
the day.

The name of the game at Titan Bet Poker is microstakes – games
are available from $0.01/$0.02 up to a max of $5/$10 for holdem
and $1.50/$3 for Omaha. As for tournament play, a full schedule
is available every day. On my last visit, I counted 72 upcoming
events in the next 24 hours. That’s a smaller schedule than at
Titan Bet Poker’s competitors, but the smaller network traffic is
probably the reason for that.

Casino

Here is a guide to each of the categories of casino games
available at Titan Bet:

Slots

Titan Bet is home to some 200 slot games. You can find the
complete list here
.

Playtech-designed slots aren’t the worst in the business –
they aren’t as repetitive as RTG or Microgaming titles – but
they’re by no means the best-looking or best-performing games,
either. Yes, a variety of game styles is covered, from classic
games with simple arrangements to modern progressive video slots
with special effects and licensed characters.

The issue I have with the slot collection at Titan Bet is the
same issue I have with all Playtech libraries – too much of the
same-old game appearing with different trappings. I get bored.

One thing that keeps Titan Bet’s slot library interesting is
the inclusion of licensed titles like Captain America and Little
Britain. Playtech does a good job producing slots based on
popular themes – I just wish they had a separate category where
they kept licensed titles so I’d have easier access to them.

Table Games

It’s not unusual to find nearly twenty variants of roulette
at an online casino. These days, online casinos use variations
in graphics and features like live dealers interaction to swell
the size of their game library.

Titan Bet Roulette

What is unusual is to find a game of craps listed in a site’s
Roulette section. I’m not sure why Titan Bet includes craps on
this list, except that they couldn’t find another category in
which to place it.

Here’s the full list of eighteen titles available in the
Roulette section of Titan Bet:

  • Craps
  • 3D Roulette Premium
  • Live French Roulette
  • Premium French Roulette
  • Roulette Pro
  • Live Roulette
  • Premium Roulette Pro
  • Premium European Roulette
  • Roulette
  • Video Roulette
  • AR Roulette
  • Premium American Roulette
  • Multiplayer European Roulette
  • French Roulette Multiplayer
  • Live VIP Roulette
  • 3D Roulette
  • Multi Wheel Roulette
  • American Roulette

Besides variations like Multi-Wheel and the inclusion of an
American-, European-, and French-rules game, this list is almost
useless. Any time you see words like “Premium” and “Pro” in the
name of a game variant, that’s an indication that the game is
just a version with different graphics or a different layout.

Poker

I don’t mind that Titan Bet placed a lot of different styles
of game under the blanket heading “Card Games.” Just because
most other all-in-one sites break games up into a few more
categories doesn’t mean it has to be done that way. I like the
arrangement of twenty-three disparate titles into a single list
– it makes for a fascinating collection of gambling options.

Here’s the full list of titles kept under the Card Games
heading at Titan Bet:

  • Blackjack Multihand 5
  • Perfect Blackjack
  • Live Blackjack
  • Jacks or Better
  • Casino Hold’em Live
  • Double Attack Blackjack
  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Caribean Stud Poker
  • Casino Hold ’em Poker
  • Progressive Blackjack
  • Blackjack Multiplayer
  • 21 Duel Blackjack
  • Wild Viking
  • Tequila Poker
  • Blackjack Surrender
  • Blackjack Switch
  • Live Baccarat
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Red Dog
  • Tens or Better
  • Progressive Live Baccarat
  • Live VIP Baccarat

You’ll notice a lot of these titles are blackjack variants,
and most of them are a lot of fun. Blackjack doesn’t always lend
itself to variation, but games like Switch (where you can swap
out your cards for replacements if you’re in a pickle) and
Surrender (which allows you to retreat for half your wager)
really add something to the standard blackjack play.

As for all the live dealer games – if you’re into that sort
of thing, Titan Bet has lots of options with variations available
for almost every card game covered in the Live section. For
example, if you want to play live baccarat, you have two
options, including a VIP option that’s really just the same game
in a different presentation.

Video Poker

Thirteen video poker variations fall under this heading.
Here’s the full list:

  • Jacks or Better Multihand
  • 50-Line Jacks or Better
  • Deuces Wild
  • Joker Poker
  • Jacks or Better
  • 25-Line Aces and Faces
  • 4-Line Jacks or Better
  • 2 Ways Royal
  • 4-Line Aces and Faces
  • All American Video Poker
  • 4-Line Deuces Wild
  • 10-Line Jacks or Better
  • Mega Jacks

But as is often the case with Titan Bet’s game library, strip
away the multi-line and Multihand games and you’re left with a
pedestrian collection of standard video poker variants. Jacks or
Better and Deuces Wild are fun, but there’s only two titles in
this whole list that range outside the standard-issue casino
game variants – Mega Jacks and 2 Ways Royal.

Scratch Cards

I’m used to seeing one or two scratch card games added on to
casino game libraries – but when I saw the list of twenty-four
such cards available at Titan Bet, I was surprised. I know that
these titles are growing in popularity, and I know some
customers get excited about playing online versions of
lotto-style scratch cards, but I’ve never been bitten by the
bug.

Here’s the list of scratch card style games hosted at
Titan Bet:

  • Top Trumps Legends
  • Spiderman
  • Iron Man 3
  • Wolverine
  • Baywatch
  • Ghost Rider
  • Daredevil
  • Captain America
  • Thor
  • Avengers
  • The Six Million Dollar Man
  • Hulk Scratch
  • Top Trumps Celebs
  • Gladiator
  • Lotto Madness
  • Iron Man 2
  • Spamalot
  • Easter Surprise
  • Blade
  • Fantastic Four
  • Rocky
  • A Night Out
  • Love Match
  • 3 Clowns

Notice how many of them are licensed titles – that has to be
a big part of the appeal of these games for their fans.

Bingo

Bingo is the newest addition to the Titan Bet family, added
last year to address a growing interest in online bingo games.
Both 90- and 75-ball bingo are available, and both in multi-card
formats. Titan Bet also sometimes runs a bingo-specific
promotion.

Customer Support

Customers can contact Titan Bet using one of the following
methods:

All forms of customer service listed above are advertised as
being available only between 8 AM and midnight, GMT. Customer
service is available in the following languages: English,
German, Russian, and Spanish.

Does Titan Bet protect my security?

Is it safe to wager at
Titan Bet? As Playtech’s flagship site, security shouldn’t be a
concern. Playtech is traded on the London Stock Exchange, and

truly nasty were to go down. If you’re concerned about security,
point your browser to Titan Bet’s security page and check the
details for yourself.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for an all-in-one site with lots of slots,
an active sports book and poker room, and other options for when
you get bored waiting for a score to come in, Titan Bet is worth
a look. Be aware, though, that customers have made some serious
complaints about the site’s timeliness when it comes to payment
and bonus recognition.

Verdict

I’m torn on Titan Bet – I don’t love the
Playtech-designed casino much, but slot players would probably
have no trouble with it. I’m going to remain neutral on the
site, because it doesn’t interest me personally, and I’m not
convinced that the slow payment problems aren’t more serious
than other reviewers are willing to admit.
