Baby G Slot Machine

A 5 reel, 25 pay line slot machine, Baby G was created by 777igt for online casinos.

This slot has a puzzling title, and we would’ve never guessed that Baby G is based on female assassins and warriors.

Baby G Slot Machines Overview

Atmosphere / Background

This game’s background is a boiler room filled with pipes and valves.

While we’ve seen movies that feature fights in boiler rooms, the background doesn’t make sense here. 777igt could’ve picked a number of other settings that would better reflect where warrior duels would take place.

You’ll also see half shields with swords crossing behind them. This is more reflective of a medieval game, making the swords and shields another part of the background that don’t match.

When comparing the symbols to the background, Baby G feels like a mash up of elements that lack cohesion.

Music and Sound Effects

The music is an intense score that goes through different peaks and valleys. Based on how this song builds and drops, it reminds us of everything from a Batman movie to Home Alone.

We could see this being in one of the aforementioned films about female assassins, so the music isn’t as far off as the background graphics.

Sound effects include: coins jumping off the reels, magical and dreamy sounds during wins, a movie projector sound when you perform spins, and a voice yelling out Big Win.

777igt uses the same generic sound effects in all its games, making this another department where Baby G falls short.

Animations

Animations in Baby G include: coins bouncing off the reels and into your Credits section, winning symbols moving towards and away from the screen, balloons rising or coins piling up after Big Wins, and fireworks shooting out of the scatter payouts sign.

While it’s good that Baby G includes several animations during wins, it would be better to see ones that actually relate to the story.

With a fighting slot like this, 777igt should’ve included animations where the characters swing their weapon and do acrobatics.

Baby G Pay Table and Graphics

The pay table contains 15 symbols, which we’ll cover below along with the payouts that each one offers:

Ice Queen Mega Jackpot

Featuring blue hair and icy, pale skin, this supernatural woman pays the Mega Jackpot when landing 5 times in an active pay line.

Warrior in Red Armor Minor Jackpot

The first of multiple, scantily dressed characters, this symbol delivers the Minor Jackpot when landing 5 times in an active line.

Warrior in Grey Armor Mini Jackpot

Wearing more sensible attire, this blonde haired woman triggers the Mini Jackpot when showing up 5 times in a pay line.

Sorceress Wild

With a blue cloak, red eyes, and blue lips, this character has a magical element to her. She substitutes for all other symbols except the jackpot, bonus, and free spins icon to form wins. The sorceress also offers 150 coins when appearing 5 times in a pay line.

Archer

Wearing a skimpy top, the archer pays 200 coins for 5 symbols, 40 for 4, and 12 for 3.

Martial Arts Fighter

With her hand outstretched in a traditional martial arts pose, this lady delivers 150 coins for 5 symbols, 40 for 4, and 12 for 3.

Commander

Wearing a marine style hat, this character pays 120 coins for 5 symbols, 30 for 4, and 12 for 3.

A

The A offers 100 coins for 5 symbols, 30 for 4, and 10 for 3.

K

The K pays 80 coins for 5 symbols, 25 for 4, and 10 for 3.

Q

This letter delivers 60 coins for 5 symbols, 25 for 4, and 10 for 3.

J, 10

These two symbols pay 50 coins for 5 symbols, 20 for 4, and 10 for 3.

Assassin in Silver Bikini Scatter

Leaving little to the imagination, this assassin delivers a scatter payout when appearing at least 3 times anywhere on the reels.

Assassin in Brown Bikini Free Spins

This female fighter awards you free spins when landing 3 or more times.

Assassin in Black Cape Bonus

Wearing a black bra and cape, this assassin triggers the bonus game when landing 3 or more times anywhere on the reels.

Symbol Graphics

As with other 777igt games, Baby G puts lots of detail into each symbol graphic. All of the characters feature a distinct look thanks to the quality graphics and attention to detail.

Our favorite symbols include the ice queen, warrior in grey armor, sorceress, martial arts fighter, commander, and assassin with the black cape.

The only thing we’d do differently is convert the letters and numbers into symbols that reflect the theme. Examples include weapons, main characters in a new pose, and battlegrounds.

But this is a small complaint, and the symbol graphics remain Baby G’s best aspect.

Baby G Slot Bonus Features

Besides the symbol graphics, the next best thing about Baby G is its multiple features, including free spins, a second screen bonus, and three progressive jackpots. Below you can read about the details regarding each feature.

Free Spins

When triggering free games with the assassin in a brown bikini, you’ll either get 15 free spins 5 symbols, 10 spins 4 symbols, or 5 spins 3 symbols.

True to the 777igt line of slot machines, these free games don’t come with any extra embellishments like multipliers or a new background.

While earning free spins is always nice, the lack of frills takes some of the excitement away.

Bonus Round

When you trigger the bonus with the assassin in a black cape, you’ll be taken to a better decorated screen than the main game.

The bonus features stone steps and knight statues on the outside of the screen, and an expansive chamber in the middle. You’ll also see a giant figure emanating blue light, giving this bonus a supernatural feel.

You’ll be presented with five cards, and you must choose two to determine your bonus prize.

One thing we don’t like about this process is how the game pressures you into clicking a card if you take more than a few seconds deciding. If you don’t pick, the game will choose for you.

Despite this drawback, we like Baby G’s bonus and wish that they would’ve used this background for the main game.

3 Jackpots

This game features three progressive jackpots in the Mega, Minor, and Mini Jackpots.

At the time of this review, the Mega Jackpot is worth $1,231,117, the Minor Jackpot is worth $620,588, and the Major Jackpot sits at $410,392.

We haven’t seen another line of games that offer three progressive jackpots worth six figures or more, making Baby G and other 777igt slots rare in this regard.

Betting Options

You can use 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 pay lines per spin. You can also adjust your coin size between $0.01 and $2.00.

This makes the smallest bet worth $0.05, and the max wager worth $50.00 per spin.

Other Options

Auto spin lets you automatically spin the reels for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or infinity spins. The infinity selection is great for times when you want to trigger a bonus or chase jackpots without having to reset your auto spin option every few minutes.

Also note that Baby G offers a Stop option so that you can rapidly conclude spins. We found this to be quicker than auto spin, but it also requires a heavy deal of clicking.

One more option is the ability to adjust the volume via a speaker button in the top left hand corner. What’s nice about the speaker button is that it has a sliding bar, giving you greater control over the volume level.

Win Frequency

We played Baby G for about 300 spins and found the win frequency to be above average for a 25pay line slot machine.

The sorceress combined with the low paying letters to form lots of small payouts. We also triggered free spins and scatter payouts at a high frequency.

Despite the large volume of wins and free games, we ended up losing almost $10 during the session.

It didn’t help matters that we were only able to trigger the second screen bonus once within our session.

Game Rules

The main rules for Baby G are as follows:

  • Wins must form in active pay lines from left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel.
  • This includes the Mega, Minor, and Mini Jackpot symbols, which must land 5 times in a pay line to trigger wins.
  • The exception is free spin and bonus scatter symbols, which can trigger bonuses from anywhere on the reels.
  • Wins are multiplied by the triggering line stake. Here’s an example: you bet $0.10 and win 10 coins, making your payout worth $1.00.
  • Free games are played at the triggering pay lines and line stake.

Comparison to Other Female Assassin Themed Slot Machines

One game that we’ve chosen for comparisons is 777igt’s G Warrior because it’s so similar to Baby G. The other is High 5 Games’ Dangerous Beauty, which is another assassin themed online slot machine.

777igt’s G Warrior

We assume that G Warrior is a sequel to Baby G because of the similarities between the names and themes.

A 5reel, 25pay line slot, G Warrior also features female assassins, including a couple of the same ones used as jackpot symbols. These include the black caped assassin, who’s the Minor Jackpot symbol, and the warrior in the red bra, who’s the Mini Jackpot icon.

The rest of the assassins are different, which gives this game appeal to those who play Baby G first and like it.

We like the music better in G Warrior because it more accurately reflects the theme. But the red background is ugly and does nothing to enhance the storyline.

These slot machines share similar bonuses and jackpots, making them the same in multiple areas.

Taking the good and the bad, G Warrior is no better or worse than Baby G; it’s just an extension of the latter.

High 5 Games’ Dangerous Beauty

Created by High 5 Games, Dangerous Beauty is a 5reel, 40pay line slot that deals with an Asian assassin trying to protect her village.

This game has an Alias feel because the sword wielding assassin is presented in different clothes and wigs. Just like Baby G, Dangerous Beauty’s symbol graphics are rich in color and detail.

The sound effects are also generic in Dangerous Beauty since you’ll hear many of the same sounds in other High 5 Games. But this slot also features original animations during payouts, giving it a leg up on Baby G.

Another area of Dangerous Beauty that we like better is the background, which features a bright moon and misty sky.

The one big problem with this game is that it only offers free spins as a bonus. This is in contrast to Baby G, which also offers three jackpots and a second screen bonus.

Despite its limited bonus features, Dangerous Beauty is on par with Baby G due to advantages in the background and animations areas.

Conclusion

Baby G has some good qualities that make it appealing to fans of female warrior and assassin movies.

Everything starts with the characters since each one offers excellent graphics and detail. This helps make each character memorable, giving this game playability beyond a single session.

Another likeable aspect of Baby G is its free spins, jackpots, and bonus. All three jackpots give you an opportunity to win a fortune, while the bonus offers a nice breather from the main game.

Downsides to this slot include its lame background and generic sound effects and animations.

We don’t understand why 777igt chose a boiler room for the background since there are so many other fitting settings. As for the animations and sound effects, Baby G features the same ones seen in other 777igt games.

Due to its drawbacks, Baby G isn’t the best slot that you’ll ever play. But again, if you enjoy movies like Aeon Flux, Elektra, and Kill Bill, then this game is worth trying.
