The Football game’s upbeat background music is the type of soundtrack you
hear during real-life matches. While playing you feel you’re immersed into the
stands watching the players warm up for an intense match.
The slot has an announcer, who lets you know when you score a big win and
will declare when you hit the bonus round and free spins round.
Animations
The animations in Football are more modern than those in the FIFA slot.
The coins drop into the credits bank which is now located at the top of the
screen to the left of the reels. We like this better than when they bounced
across the bottom of the screen in FIFA.
Not all the symbols animate, and the ones that do have only the slightest
animations. This would be disappointing in other games.
But, we don’t think more animations are necessary because this game has such
a sleek, modern design.
The game also has specific animations for when you get a big payout or
activate any of the bonus features. You hear the announcer’s voice declare what
you won, while balloons and fireworks flash across the screen. This occurs for
scatter wins, large payouts, and bonus rounds.
Each bonus round also closes with a graphic announcing how many credits you

Since we’re familiar with the FIFA game, we know that the animations for the
bonus features in Football listed above are identical to those in FIFA. We’re
impressed with them in FIFA, but 777igt should have tweaked them to better fit
the design of Football.

Symbol Graphics
Every aspect of this game screams soccer. From the background to the music to
the perfectly-chosen symbols, you know what this game is about from the moment
you load the screen.
The symbols are right on the money. The generic card symbols even use the
typical block font displayed on scoreboards.
One detail we’ll criticize is the double use of soccer balls for two
different symbols. Although they’re different types of balls and use different
colors, the game’s creators missed the opportunity to add another symbol.
Football Slot Bonus Features
We had high expectations for the bonus features in the Football slot after we
the better game design.
But, we’re disappointed to see all the bonus features are the same as in
FIFA.
The payout structure, the beginning and closing graphics, and the design
glitches are exactly the same as those in the previous version.
The scatter bonus feature rewards you a payout depending on the number of
symbols on the reels, and scatters occur the most in the Football slot.
Landing 3 or more of the free spin symbol activates the free spin bonus. This
bonus round plays out automatically, and a banner appears at the top of the
screen to let you know how many spins you have remaining.
We’re glad to see that the mini bonus game is enhanced for the Football slot
machine.
But, we’re disappointed because there’s a design malfunction.
The mini game takes you to a different screen with a team of 9 soccer players
standing in front of an empty goal. The screen instructs you to select one of
the players to kick the penalty shot. If the player makes the goal, the mini
game continues. If the player misses the goal, you’re taken back to the base
game.
A pop-up box provides the instructions for the bonus game. There is an X at
the top left corner to exit the instructions and play the game. Much to our
dismay, you cannot click on the exit button.
The game is on a self-timer and continues on its own several seconds after
activation. You still receive a nice-sized reward once the bonus round is over
but it’s almost a disgrace to refer to this mini round as a game.
This could be a great game if all its parts worked the way they should, so we
hope 777igt fixes this defect soon.
Although the bonus game is disappointing, we were glad to see a game with
several bonus features. You usually hit at least one of these bonuses every
20-25 spins.
Betting Options
The Football slot defaults to playing 25 pay lines, with a 0.01 bet per line,
and a max overall bet of 0.25.
The game allows a minimum of 0.01 and a maximum of 2 per line, and you can
increase your overall max bet up to 50.
You can alter bet lines in increments of 5.
The game has an auto spin option like other online slots. Auto spin lets you
choose the number of spins in increments of 10, up to 50, with an option for
infinity as well. If you choose to play with unlimited spins, you can stop at
any time by clicking the stop button at the bottom right of the screen.

You can adjust the sound by toggling the volume bar in the top left corner.
The music isn’t as bad as some slots on the market, but we did have to turn
the music down, as it seems to be much louder than most default volumes.

We didn’t get to claim any of the progressives, but you hit payouts often in
this game.

The graphics, background, and music combine to create a fantastic online

Football is almost the total package if you ask us. Few online games can
boast a fantastic design and large payouts at the same time; you usually end up
sacrificing one or the other.
The only issue we have is with the mini game glitches. And, if 777igt fixes
that, this game will be even more of a knock-out.
